Meet Rick Lewis, RICP®, AIF®

With nearly three decades of financial services experience, Rick has worked to establish himself as a trusted advisor in retirement planning, investments, and insurance solutions. After graduating from Florida Atlantic University with a B.B.A. in Business Administration, he began his career in 1994 and spent 13 years in senior management at a national bank before joining the Principal^® Financial Network in 2009.

Rick holds numerous professional credentials, including FINRA Series 6, 7, 63, and 65 securities registrations, a Florida FL-215 License, and holds the designations of Accredited Investment Fiduciary® and Retirement Income Certified Professional® . His focus spans individual retirement planning, investments, insurance, and deferred compensation plans for closely held businesses.

A dedicated community leader, Rick has served as chairman for multiple organizations including the Campo YMCA, Boy Scout Troop 89, Leadership Boynton Beach, Leadership Brandon, and the Greater Boynton Beach Chamber of Commerce. His extensive civic involvement includes previously serving as President of an American Heart Association chapter, President & CEO of the Greater Brandon Chamber of Commerce, and previous advisory roles with the Tampa Bay Rays 2020 initiative and Hillsborough County School District.

Family values are at the heart of Rick's approach to both life and business. He and his wife Edie built a strong family foundation during their 30-year marriage. Their eldest son Jake graduated Summa Cum Laude from Jesuit High School before earning his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Central Florida's Burnett Honors College. He has followed his father's footsteps into financial services. Their younger son Dylan also graduated from Jesuit before earning a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Florida Atlantic University, continuing the family's tradition of academic excellence. Both sons are Eagle Scouts and Black Belt holders in Mixed Martial Arts, achievements that reflect the family's commitment to personal growth and development.
